Thomas Patrick Mastin was born November 27th, 1946, in Sioux City Iowa, and was called to rest on October 30th, 2021.
Tom was the son of Robert Stuart Mastin and Alice Rita Mastin. His family moved to Palmdale California in 1956. Tom attended Palmdale High School where he met his high school sweetheart Linda Lee Morse, who he married in 1966 living, loving and working together for 55 years.
From the late 1960’s and through the 1970’s, Tom was a co-owner of Taco Hacienda, a well-loved family-owned restaurant in Palmdale. In 1973 he began his Real Estate career as a Real Estate Agent for Sierra Reality in Palmdale. Soon after, Tom associated himself with Christock Reality which primarily sold land in the Antelope Valley. In 1975, Tom joined Desert Wide Real Estate and obtained his Real Estate Broker license. In 1991, Tom and his wife Linda started Big Valley Real Estate as owner and Broker.
Tom is survived by his wife Linda Mastin, daughter Karmen Mastin, son Ty Mastin, daughter Deborah Varon, granddaughter Shannon Jackowski and her husband Chance and great granddaughter Rylee Rae, his brothers Brian Mastin and Dan Mastin and his sister Margene Mastin- Schepps and her husband David Schepps, his sister-in-law Jo Ann Morse and niece Fawn Morse and great nephew Atticus.
Tom loved the outdoors, his family, friends, and his dogs. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park -2200 East Ave. S, Palmdale, California.
