BATE, Stephen E. Nov. 9, 1944 - Feb. 13, 2016 Retired LA County Sheriff, US Navy Vietnam Veteran, Hunter, Fisherman, Drag Racer, passed away Feb. 13, 2016. Steve is survived by Marilyn Ibbotson, Kathy Houghton, Holly Stevens, Stephen S. Bate. Jeffrey and Kaitlynn Houghton, Stevie and Robert Stevens, Ashlee, Stephen Jr., Johnny Bate. A service will be held at 11AM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 1755 East Ave. R, Palmdale.
