WESTBROOKS, Spurgeon Benman born February 16, 1910 in Elgin, Texas.  Passed away peacfully at home on October 14, 2012 in Palmdale, CA.  He survived by his nephews, James Westbrook, Jr. and wife Jacqueline of Palmdale, CA, Ov Westbrook and wife Vivian of Lynwood, CA, Frank Westbrook and Mary of Loma Linda, CA, Samuel Westbrook and wife Julie of Lancaster, CA, Douglas Westbrook and wife Bernadette of New Mexico, Kenneth Westbrook and wife Lisa of Upland, CA, Richard Maxie and wife Vicky of Cleveland, OH, Johnny Maxie of Mississippi, Jerry Westbrook and wife Edna of Long Beach, CA, nieces, Barbara Booker and husband Willie of Riverside, CA, Beverly Reed and husband Douglas of Chatsworth, CA, Delma Westbrook of Encino, CA, Victoria Westbrook of Las Vegas, NV, Deborah Anderson of Cleveland, OH, Susie Stafford of Cleveland OH, Carol McIntosh of Cleveland, OH, and Maryellen Guliford and husband Ernie of Albuquerque, NM.  He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm with a funeral service to follow at 12pm both Friday, October 19, 2012 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary.
