Scott Smith

SMITH, Scott Joseph    Born on April 24, 1948 in Burlington, Iowa.  Passed away on May 3, 2012 in Palmdale, CA.  Scott grew up in Plattsmouth, NE and lived in the Antelope Valley for 22 years.  He served a long career as a school administrator. He enjoyed his hobbies collecting sports memorabilia and Nebraska football.  Scott is survived by his wife, Nancy Smith, children, Bradley (Kristina), Jeffrey (Jaime), and Jennifer Prince (Jason), grandchildren, Hannah, Taylor, Jordann, Myranda, Cori, Cole, Savannah, McKenna, Karsyn, and Kayden.  Also, Scott is survived by his brothers Larry (Jeanne) and Craig (Mary Ann).  In lieu of flowers, make donations to: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (www.partnersinhope.org) and Wounded Warriors (www.woundedwarriors.org).  A memorial service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary.  You may sign the condolence book at www.chapelofthevalleymortuary.com.
