Sandra Macy

MACY, Sandra Marie (Wilson) Born July 6, 1949, Burbank, CA. Passed away Nov. 24, 2012, Phoenix, AZ. Sandy married her husband Leonard C. Macy in 1990, lived in Juniper Hills, CA (Antelope Valley), then La Pine, OR and Phoenix, AZ. A 1967 Palmdale High School graduate, she spent many years working for Wilson Ambulance, her family's business. She volunteered for AV Domestic Violence Shelter, was an outgoing member of Escapees, always reaching out to others with a welcoming smile. The love for her family and humanity was deeply rooted in her Spiritual beliefs. Truly a genuine friend, she will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Len Macy; her siblings Randy, Candy, and Andy Wilson; stepchildren Jerry, Larry, and Mark Macy; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Herb & Dorothy Wilson. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at 10am, on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary.
