Ruth McKim

McKIM, Ruth born July 23, 1927 Burlington, WA. Passed away December 17, 2014 in Lancaster, CA. Ruth grew up in Lodi, CA and attended Lodi High School. She moved to Palmdale in December of 1967. Ruth has worked as a secretary, music teacher, and also the Palmdale school cafeteria, but has worked as a homemaker most of her life caring for her family. She is survived by her children, Darlene Joy Winter and husband Robert, Melody Ann Swaroop, and Vernon Eugene McKim, Jr. and wife Nancy, sisters, Ruby Parks and husband Jack, and Roberta McKim, grandchildren, Luke Hessler, Jeremy Hessler, Sangeeta Swaroop, Maya Swaroop, Bethany McKim, Silas McKim, and Samantha McKim. Ruth is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Eli Hessler and Jordan Strohbusch. A graveside service will be held at 11am Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Riverside National Cemetery.  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
