Robert Wood

WOOD, Robert L. Born June 25, 1929 in San Francisco, CA.  Passed away April 7, 2017 in Lancaster, CA.  Survived by his children, Rick Spence (Sandy), Wayne Wood, Deborah Boudreau, Denyse Wood, grandchildren, Karey, Erika, Robert, Donald, Jaclynn, Ben, Lauren, Evan, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, son, Brandon, brother, David and grandson, Adam.  Mr. Wood joined the US Army after High School and entered the LA County Sheriff’s Dept. retiring in 1986 as a Captain.  He was an avid sailor, past president of the Lancaster Rotary Club, and a member of the Lancaster Elks Lodge.  He loved his family, music, a good bottle of Merlot and his dog Molly by his side.
