Robert McKern

McKERN, Robert F. “Bob” born September 11, 1939 in Ottumwa, Iowa.  Passed away December 8, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1961.  He worked several years at Lockheed.  Bob was a member of the American Legion Post 348 in Palmdale.  He is survived by his son, Robert Dwayne McKern of Fayetteville, TN, daughter, Lisa Mckern also of Fayetteville, TN, grandson, David Rivera of Los Angeles, CA, and brother, Gary McKern of Fallon, NV.  A visitation will be held from 10am to 1pm with a funeral service at 1pm both Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale.  Bob had many friends and will be missed by all.  You may sign the condolence book on our website at chapelofthevalleymortuary.com.  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
