Paulette Cockman Roberts
Entered this world on May 17, 1943 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She departed for heaven on July 24, 2012 at the age of 69 years. During her time here on this earth, she touched many lives as she taught more than one generation of children about God and Salvation through Jesus Christ in Children’s Church. She prayed for and encouraged numerous friends throughout the years. She came to Palmdale with her family in 1955 and graduated from Palmdale High School in 1961. Paulette delighted in God’s creations and spent many hours watching various birds, especially delighting in the antics of hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alden and Pauline Cockman, of Palmdale, Calf.  Paulette is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jim Roberts, of Palmdale Calif., two sons, James Roberts and wife Jelena, of Atlanta, Ga., Tim Roberts and wife Teresa, of Stilwell, OK., one daughter, Kim Roberts, of Little Rock, AR.  She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Heath Roberts, of Benton, AR., Joey Kirk and husband Marcus, of Stilwell, OK., Alina Roberts and Anessia Roberts, of Atlanta, GA., and Aiden Roberts, of Little Rock, AR., two great-grandchildren, Hayden Kirk and Taylor Kirk, of Stilwell, OK., along with many nephews and cousins.  A viewing will be held from 3-7pm, on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 1755 East Ave. R, Palmdale and a celebration of her life will be held at 10am, on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Lighthouse Church, 38500 9th Street East, both in Palmdale, Calif.  You may sign the condolence book at:  www.chapelofthevalleymortuary.com.  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
