Marilyn Dowsett

DOWSETT, Marilyn Janice born April 22, 1935. Passed away July 31, 2015. Jan was born to Austin and Lyda Mae Nelson in Littlerock, Arkansas. They moved to California where she attended Bellflower High School where she met and married Tom Dowsett. They were married for 58 years. They moved to Lancaster in 1963 where they lived for 52 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great grandma. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom and her son, Kirk Dowsett. She is survived by her daughter Kim (Dowsett) Beardsley, son-in-law Robert Beardsley, grandson Jordan and Tyler Beardsley and great-grandson Tristan Beardsley. She will be missed greatly by family and friends. Services will be held at Lancaster District Cemetery, Friday August 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
