Lois Ledford

LEDFORD, Lois, 79,”A farm girl from Texas”, was born June 18, 1932 in Lillian, Texas.  Passed away Jan. 14, 2012 in her home with her family by her side.  Survived by her children, Pamela S. Francis, James C. Ledford Jr. (Rachelle), David R. Ledford (Deborah), Jennifer L. Kerbs (Todd), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her husband, James C. Ledford Sr., in 2002.  Lois was active in her church and in her community.   She was well loved by those who knew her.  Her family remembers her as a loving wife and mother, self sacrificing: A Woman of Excellence.  Funeral services will be at 11am, Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 at the Palmdale United Methodist Church, 39055 10th St. W. with Pastor James Powell officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hoffman Hospice of Palmdale.
