Leoline Doyle

?DOYLE, Leoline Cliffaren Therese Curtis, ?97, died October 1, 2016 at her daughter Therese's home in Adelanto, California after a short illness.  Her funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 6, 2016 at St. Andrew's Abbey in Valyermo.  Leoline was born on March 18, 1919 in Pine City, Minnesota to Joseph and Helena Curtis.  Leoline was the youngest of eight children.  She married Carl Purdy in 1936 and they had two children, Carol, 79 and Martha deceased in 2012.  Carl Purdy was killed in World War II.  Leoline then moved to Minneapolis where she went to school and worked as a waitress at the Stadium Restaurant on the University of Minnesota campus.  There she met Raymond Doyle whom she married in 1945.  Raymond and Leoline had 10 children who survive her, as does Carol, her eldest.  She is the proud grandmother of 50, great-grandmother of 92 and great-great-grandmother of 19.  Leoline inspired her children with her great love, strong faith and hard work.  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
