Gertrude Byerly

Gertrude Jane Byerly (Janie) December 26, 1928 – January 7, 2017 Born in Grapeville, PA.  Moved to the Antelope Valley in 1954 and lived in Palmdale, CA for 59 years.  She had a 33 years career with Sears and she loved travelling, flowers and caring for family and friends and was loved and liked by all.  Preceded in death by her beloved husband, James W. Byerly Jr. and sister, Magdellyn Gaudi.Survived by her sons, James F. Byerly and Jeffrey C. Byerly, grandchildren, Jenni R. Byerly, Jeffrey J. Byerly and wife Shamine, Jessica A. Byerly and great-granddaughter, Ellie Joy Byerly, sister, Bernadine Roaderick, brother-in-law, Bernard S. Gaudi and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Janie lived a full and rewarding life and was an inspiration to everyone she knew.
