Fualaau Tavai

On Sunday, April 15, 2018, Fualaau Sooto Tavai, went peacefully at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of Reverend Emanuele Lui Tavai. Fualaau was born to the late Saka Sooto & Selina Talamaivao Sooto on December 1, 1932, in Leone, American Samoa. She was preceded in death by five brothers & two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Emanuele L. Tavai; one sibling: Sister Vitalina Sooto; three children: Florence, Emanuele, Fualaau [and Lasini Faaaliga]; seven grandchildren: Onosai, Maarona, Kiliona, Maliana, Magnum, Frankie and Kameron; one great-granddaughter: Kiana and many nephews, nieces and extended family. Fualaau was a very loving person. She enjoyed singing church songs, sewing, cooking, baking, telling stories, reading the Bible and she especially loved her family and God. Funeral services will be held April 30, 2018 at 11AM at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale, with a viewing at 9AM. Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale.
