Esther Staup

STAUP, Esther Ella 97 years old, born on November 28, 1914 to George Henry and Ella Maude Noyes of Needham, MA. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Fitzgerald of Uxbridge, MA, grandsons, Shaun and Thomas Fitzgerald of Natick, MA, Terrell Holt of Somersworth, NH, Alfred and Joan Holt of Rochester, NH, great-grandson, Brendan Fitzgerald of Natick, MA, and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Holt of Rochester NH. Esther is preceded in death by her sister, Mabelle Hart, step-son, George Holt, and her first husband, Carlton A. Holt. Esther worked for many years at First National Stores in Mass. and retired after the passing of her first husband. She then moved to Palmdale, Calif. and married, Charles Staup of Palmdale, Calif. Esther became active in the Palmdale United Methodist Church and the Palmdale Order of the Eastern Star. She was a fifty-year member and received the Service Award with the Order of the Eastern Star. She was always smiling and busy with her dear friends. Each birthday was a cause for celebration and praise to the Lord.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Esther’s name can be made to the youth programs at Palmdale United Methodist Church.  A memorial service will be at 11am on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Palmdale United Methodist Church, 39055 10th St. W.
