Delores Mejia

MEJIA, Delores G. “Dee” born February 26, 1939 in Arlington, CA. Passed away February 29, 2016 in Palmdale, CA. Delores has been a resident of the Antelope Valley for 26 years. She worked for Hughes Aircraft as a Blue Print Clerk for 20 years. She loved arts and crafts and gardening. Her most special accomplishments has been raising four children as a single mom and finishing high school in her 30’s with some college education. She is survived by her sons, Carlos Mejia and Ruben Mejia, daughters, Carmen Blackhawk and Katrina Faapouli, sister, Angie Puhl, brother, David Garcia, 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3pm Monday, March 7, 2016 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary 1755 E. Ave. R, Palmdale. Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
