MORALES, David born November 11, 1959 in Bronx, New York. Passed away February 11, 2014 in Rosamond, CA. David grew up in San Jose, CA. He attended Willow Glen High School. David served honorably as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He was especially proud of retiring from the California Department of Correction after 25 years of service. He loved camping, riding his Harley and quads, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Gracie Morales, son, David K. Morales, of Palmdale, CA, daughter, Melody C. Morales of Lancaster, CA, step-son, Joseph Miranda, grandchildren, Laila A. Marrero, Miyle K. Miranda, Nathaniel A. Godinez, and Isaiah J. Godinez, his parents, Thomas and Carmen Morales of Stockton, CA, brothers, Tom Morales of Severn, MD, George Morales of Stockton, CA, sister, Anna Morales Providence of Stockton, CA, one niece, four nephews and many other loving family members and friends. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and most of all a proud grand-father. A visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm Monday, February 17, 2014 with a funeral service at 10am Tuesday, February 18, 2014 both at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale, CA with interment to follow at Bakersfield National Cemetery in Arvin, CA.
