Catalina Favela

FAVELA, Catalina Montes born December 29, 1989 in Lancaster, CA.  Passed away August 22, 2012 in Los Angeles, CA.  Catalina has lived in the Antelope Valley all her life.  She is a graduate of Highland High School.  She had been employed by Bank of America in the home mortgage department for 5 years.  She loved going to the gym with her brother, shopping, spending time with friends and family, but most of all she loved raising her 3 year old daughter, Malina.  She was self-supportive all on her own, strong willed, caring, and she always brought family and friends together.  She is survived by her daughter, Malina Herrera, parents, Samuel and Tracy Favela, grandmother, Celerina Favela, brothers, Michael Mortell and Sandy Favela, and sister, Alexandra Favela.  She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm with a rosary at 6pm Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary with a funeral service at 10am Friday, August 31, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church both in Palmdale.
