Carmen Hutchinson

March 19, 1947 — December 29, 2012

HUTCHINSON, Carmen Milagros born March 19, 1947 in Puerto Rico.  Passed away December 29, 2012 in Palmdale, CA.  Carmen has been a resident of the Antelope Valley for 17 years.  She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years.  She loved music and spending time with family.  She is survived by her husband Samuel P. Hutchinson, mother, Carmen Maria Negron, sons, Phillip G. Hutchinson, Jeffrey M. Hutchinson and wife Jamie, brother, George L. Negron and wife Vivian, sister, Elizabeth Huerta and husband Daniel, and numerous other family members.  Carmen was known by many as Cookie.  She was known and loved by many all across the country.  Family mattered more to her than anything else in the world.  She did everything she could to keep the entire family close.  The loss of this beautiful woman is extremely difficult for all who knew her, but her light will shine on through her memories that everyone carries.  Carmen was a loving mother, wife, daughter, aunt, and friend, and will remain within the hearts of her loved ones forever.  A visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm Monday, January 7, 2013 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary with a funeral mass at 10am Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery.  Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale Directors.
