Agnes McNamara

Agnes M. McNamara passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 11, 2017.  She was born on April 29, 1927 in Bird Island, Minnesota where she also met the love of her life, her late husband Aubrey McNamara. After retirement in 1988, Agnes & Aubrey moved from Burbank to Palmdale where she was an active member of the Palmdale Woman’s Club for many years.   Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey, her parents Dennis & Elizabeth Clouse, her sisters Alice Middleton, Margaret Kuklok & Gertrude Jacobson all of Minnesota, her brothers Raymond Clouse of North Dakota & Francis Clouse of Minnesota. Agnes is survived by her 4 children Gary McNamara, Nancy Zambrana (Spouse Robert), Colleen Nodland (Spouse Richard), & Pam Walker (Spouse Ed).  Also survived by her sister, Catherine Moldestad of Hutchinson, Minnesota.  Agnes had 8 grandchildren Jennifer Odland, RJ Nodland, Ryan Nodland, Shaun Dopirak (Spouse Leslie), Shannon Ortiz (Spouse Dan), Holly Busta (Spouse Jesse), Derek Walker (Spouse Aimee), & Kimmy Walker. She also had 9 great grandchildren, Will, Wade, Wyatt, Aidan, Sienna, Carter, Ryder, Owen, & Dillon, with another due in February.  Agnes had a deep love for her children, grandchildren & her husband of 59 years. Agnes will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her laughter & her faith in our Lord God. She loved music, dancing, & playing cards.  Our beloved Agnes’ memory will live on in our hearts forever as she is rejoined with her husband Aubrey.  Mom, our hearts are broken & we will miss you everyday until we are all together again.  Services celebrating Agnes’ life will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary with a Catholic Mass at 10:00 am on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Palmdale. Burial to follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in San Fernando.
